More Nordschleife excitement!
There were a LOT of Porsches of all ages, from '70's Carrera's to '04 GT3RS! Oh and an Opel Speedster and a couple of Elises too.
A few BMW's mostly fast editions, and a fast-looking Mini!
A familiar face in BMW apparel... Any suggestions?
Do you think anyone was looking at the NEW 645?! Nope! Everyone was looking at the black Donkevoort at the left (and other specials, of course!)
The roads around the Nordschleife were a copy of the track itself!
No wonder the Miata's nose picked a LOT of flies! A nice hotel 500m from the Nordschleife entrance. Very convenient!
We did drive one lap, as I said, both in the Miata. Funny thing, at some parts of the track it was raining, but we didn't really care, and continued with the top down! I managed to film a huge video with my photo camera!!!! We surely went slow, but it was enough to enjoy the ride, plus we were amazed at the speeds of bikes and fast cars. Talking of speed, we saw yellow flags waved at one turn, and in the next turn there was a Porsche Targa which went straight into the grass! No harm done to its driver, I believe, rather his pocket and his... ego! (It's all on film!)
