Near a Greek truck, at 38*C, waiting for Pavlos to disembark...

The last goodbye for the two of us, was around 85km before Athens, at a McDonalds! Actually we had an orange juice and a small bottle of water (NON frizzante, NATURALE, please!)

10km's later, Pavlos was boiling inside his airconditioned Miata, at a huge traffic jam, while I was burning myself lanesplitting at 20-30km/h between sleepy cage drivers...

Welcome back home!

The final note:

I went home around 6 pm... At 5 am, Monday morning, I had packed the Skoda with all the family, and at 7.30am we were inside Aeolos Express Ferry on the way to Naxos. Four hours later, I was swimming in the sea, between Paros and Naxos, obviously MUCH closer to Naxos than Paros.
The report on this also interesting family week-long vacation will be at some time real soon on my Travels section!
