part 2/3
Quite a bit of slow traffic. It had me worried that all those people headed for the Stelvio, but thank God they didn't!
When coming from Livignio, you could lose Stelvio, and head to Bormio. So, you turn LEFT here! No mistake! LEFT, i said!
All the pics of the ascend were taken by Pavlos of course...
At the first tornanti, there were quite a few slow cars and a truck... we cleared them soon and proceeded upwards...
The view from high up is a bit terrifying... At least I never dared stop and take pics! Thanks, Pavlos!

... I feel it, we're almost there... Yes! We're close!
Yes! we made it!
So, let's take a pic of the GPS! Ops! Two readings, taken within one minute! Hmmmm... Anyway, we're there! If you notice the two waypoints, well... the one far from the road is what the map shows as the Passo, (I renamed it Stelvios). The other one, Stelvios P, is where we're standing, right across the street from the sign above.
We took a quick look in Museo Stelvio...
...and then we tried the local bratwurst! Man, it was delicious! Pavlos even had a second one!
Back to the start of the trip
Then we took the road down (east) towards Trento...
