Sunday February 24, 2002, a trail round at slightly muddy Penteli!

Sunday February 24, 2002. We met with old friend Epi and rode around Penteli. There was some mud, but mostly it was nice and just wet gravel. Epi's '89 XT600 held up surprisingly well into this small practice MX track, and he managed to not only keep me and my lighter KTM in sight at all times, but he also proved to be the last to retire from fatigue!

This ride was also a small test of how the Punto would handle two bikes loaded on the trailer. Even though the drive to the track was about 5km, it still offered a challenge or two, like school crossings (you know, those 5cm high plastic things that make every vehicle dance and of course slow them down considerably!), plus about 500 m of rutted dirt roads... It was nice, once again!
