Looks like the previous owner of my BMW didn't like the red seat cover with wich the bike was delivered.
So, he had it reskinned, with a black dermatine side and suede top. The dermatine is fine, and the stitching is first class. However, the suede has a few shortcomings, like it glues you on the seat, making it hard for you to move around, no matter what kind of pants you have on, jeans, leather or corduras, and if the bike is left out in the rain, the whole seat is getting moist for the next 24hrs approx!

This is how it looks at the moment.

Update September 25, 2002:

The new seat covers.

More of the same! What remains to be seen now is how comfortable will this be in the long run.
